I was BEAT today! I put in a 14 hour work-day yesterday and was super-stressed....looks like it got to me a bit in the way of fatigue. But once I got up and moving around this morning I started to wake up.
It's kinda weird...I'm actually LEAST stressed about the creative process. I don't even THINK about what I'm actually going to create that day until I've got the guitar in my hand and then go...well, now what? Luckily, the ideas start flowing right away. We'll see how that goes by day 31....I'm optimistic though because I tend to do better when under pressure.
The track today:
Did it pass my self-imposed rules?
1. Yes. 1min. 50 sec long.
2. Yes. This track has multiple palmas track, a percussion track and then has the 1 main guitar part.
3. Yes. Posted on May 2nd, 2013.
This turned out to be a nice little piece and probably one that I'm going to develop a bit more for a future album. I think it is already showing a lot of promise!
Well, I'm going to keep this post short...I'm off to celebrate with a little martial arts training!
